"A few months ago I went to see Robin the Biokineticist for rehab after a back injury. During our first session he did a thorough assessment to find and explain to me the source of my pain. We then arranged a few weeks of follow up sessions to show me how to strengthen my core and back muscles to avoid injury in the future. Each session was professionally and specifically designed by Robin to target the specific areas that needed improvement. During sessions he would assess my ability to do certain movements and suggest ways to adjust and improve the movement. My husband also happened to tag along during each of my rehab sessions at the gym and had the benefit of Robin’s training and advice as well. After about two months of follow up we were given a training program tailored to both our individual needs, which we are still able to use and adapt. Robin is not only a really amazing Biokineticist, but he’s always super professional and an overall friendly and approachable dude! "I met Jamie through recommendation of the running club I am a part of and have been working closely with him for the duration of this year. I sustained an injury in December 2018 and in January I went to see him. His approach in identifying the cause and treating this as well as the symptoms and providing me with injury specific tailored exercise plan was excellent. His support during, after and with ongoing feedback was something that I have not experienced before and I found to be very encouraging and highly valuable. He knew my goals and being a runner himself, he was able to help me navigate my way through to successfully achieving them and returning to running and even be stronger than before. I am currently under further rehab treatment of a shin splint (correctly diagnosed by Jamie) that I sustained and have been given tailored specific workouts to strengthen certain areas related to this. Working closely with Jamie and doing the rehab for the last 10 days daily, with very short distance (2-3km running only) I have been able to successfully complete a 10km run painfree. I will follow is instructions, to rest up now and strengthen and go for reassesment to ensure that complete recovery has taken place. I have also learned firsthand that these workouts are injury preventative and strengthen me to become better. The best is that one does not have to struggle and figure this out by oneself. Jamie is very professional in his work, accurate in his assessments, friendly, outgoing, supportive and genuinely interested in your well being as a person in relation to one's goals.
